1. eufyCam can be installed outdoors. HomeBase cannot be installed outdoors.

2. Use the outdoor mount if you want to mount the camera outdoors. If there are frequent heavy rains, strong winds, hail and other bad weather, please use the secure outdoor mount bracket to install the camera. And we recommend you install a shield to proof the rain or water.

3. Take your cameras and phone to the location you want to mount the camera. Use the App to read the signal strength on the camera.

4. Make sure the signal strength is "Great" at the desired location.

5. Mount the camera 7-10ft high, no higher than 3m and down tilt no bigger than 30°.

6. Avoid placing the camera under direct sunlight.

7. Avoid placing the camera lens near the wall or glass to prevent light from reflecting into the IR LED.
