What is the voltage requirement for hardwiring the Video Doorbell Dual?

Is this Video Doorbell Dual compatible with 5 GHz WiFi? 

No. The Video Doorbell Dual only works with 2.4 GHz Wifi.

What is the main difference between the Video Doorbell Dual and other video doorbells?

Other doorbells on the market only have one sensor, radar, or PIR for object detection. Through technological innovation, eufy Video Doorbell Dual implements both sensors by combining the advantages of PIR infrared sensing and radar sound wave sensing, which can reduce false triggers.

Is there a Night Vision feature?

Yes. Video Doorbell Dual has the Auto Night Vision feature that shows crystal clear images at night. 

I have an original eufyCam series. Can this Video Doorbell Dual (battery-operated) be connected to my original HomeBase?

Yes. The Video Doorbell Dual (battery) is compatible with the original Homebase. You can purchase an add-on Video Doorbell Dual and add it to your exsting Homebase. 

What if I want another Video Doorbell Dual for my back door?

You can purchase another add-on Video Doorbell Dual on eufy’s website and add it to the HomeBase.

When will this Video Doorbell Dual be compatible with Apple Home/HomeKit?

Currently, the Video Doorbell Dual doesn't support Apple HomeKit. While eufy is actively exploring the possibility of supporting HomeKit, it is still too early to say yes or no. Please stay tuned for our latest news.

Can this be hooked up to a solar panel?

No. Currently, the Video Doorbell Dual cannot be hooked up to a solar panel.

Is there a way to add additional chimes throughout the house for the Video Doorbell Dual? 

Yes. You can purchase the add-on chime with a USB dongle to place at different locations in the house. The add-on chime with a USB dongle can only be used with the Video Doorbell Dual(battery) that is connected to a Homebase 2.

Is this doorbell water or weatherproof?

The waterproof rating of Video Doorbell Dual is IP65. This product is lightly waterproof, we recommend using this product under a shelter.
